IMAGE OF EARTH AND QUILL

Guest Poet Jade Matthews

Red Letter Day

red satin lover
rent
spent
within
hoarded wealth
gentled tilth
have you  discovered
actual sin

or does love turn filth
quite
white
for eyes
that want more
candy store
she's bad for your health
say your goodbyes

come out the back door
see
me
waiting
take my hand
understand
I've forgiven your
trespass mating

Jade Matthews's Questions:

question #1-The last stanza reads like morse code to me-do you feel the same? This is first draft so I am ready to rip it apart now.

question #2-The further you get in the read, the faster it goes.  Is this a good thing or a detriment?

question #3-The language is simpler toward the end, could that be the cause of the effects I mention in questions 1 and 2?
