IMAGE OF EARTH AND QUILL

Guest Poet Louise Bell

Edge

You're the edge
I scramble to
           I know
               what you want.
You call me out
        Anytime
Beckon me
    to your branch of wonders.
I feed relentlessly
                              with greedy gulps.
I will return the favour
                                   soon.

Jealous Ivy creeps
                                when he
Breathes
                 at me
I think we need

                          A code.

Louise Bell's Questions:

•Does the form work?

•Does the use of the title in the first line work or does it appear laboured?

•Is it too lovey?

•Do you get anything from it?

•Do you think that the use of images are appropriate?

•Is there anything that doesn't work that you have an alternative suggestion for?

Thank you
