In Shadowland

In Shadowland,
black rivers flow
through a gray forest deep,
in the valley of the soul.

In Shadowland
no light dares shine.
There, trees stand dry and bare
and all dreams, left behind.

There in the place
of broken hearts,
there in a blinding fog,
is where the sadness starts.

In Shadowland...
