Sword
I glisten and I shine as I glide through the air,
Cutting...
Into the lives of others I strike an unmistakable
blow...
I cut into the lives of others to make an impact...
The Blade is my personal strength and uniqueness...
The Guard and Sheath is my prayer for a safe life...
The Handle is my support for those around me...
However just because I am almost always at your side
doesn't mean that I won't ever leave it...
And because you missused me, I am broken and
shattered...
I will be waiting for a new person to call “friend”...
I will be waiting for a new person to shine me and
restore me to former greatness...
You will find me waiting...
For you...
All you have to do is just look deep into your
heart...
And remember me on the day we first met...
And know that even a little pain in life just
strengthens the bonds of a true friend...

1. Do you think that I could improve on this? If so could you please tell me how? (I am 14 and a freshman in High School and wanted to try something new...I love the study of literature!)
2. Do you think that my abilities in this field are at all good…even for an amateur like myself?
